Building relationships that last: In 2002 Younglove Construction was invited to participate in the construction of a brand-new facility for the production of premium pet food. The facility consists of a process tower, offices, ancillary support spaces, a packaging room, and a warehouse. Emphasis was placed on sanitary design, superior access, and efficient material handling.
After our success with the first project, Younglove Construction was invited back to work on Natura’s new plant addition. A new slip-formed ingredient tower increased ingredient storage. Adjacent was a receiving tower that increased receiving rates and incorporated cleaning equipment. This had to be completed prior to the demolition/renovation of some existing areas. The scope of work also included a batching and mixing upgrade, which integrated the new ingredient storage into the existing storage and downstream flow.
